서양의 재료인 유화 및 아크릴 물감으로 동양의 수묵화 기법에서 영감을 받아 흑색의 장미를 그리는 ‘Roses’ 연작입니다. 물과 기름, 중력으로 섞이고 흐르는 과정은 동서양의 조화와 혼합을 상징합니다. 완전함이 아닌 불완전한 상태가 완성이 될 수 있음을 뜻하며, 이질적이고 통상적인 개념에 대립하는 새로운 아름다움을 상징합니다.

The pigments blend and flow through the interaction of water, oil, and gravity, symbolizing the harmony and fusion between Eastern and Western aesthetics.

Rather than pursuing perfection, the series embraces imperfection as a form of completion, revealing a new kind of beauty that stands in contrast to conventional and familiar concepts.
