<ROses in flux>

Roses in Flux는 형태가 완성된 순간이 아닌 흐르고 있는 상태를 기록하는 전시입니다.

이번 전시에서 실크 위에 그린 검은 장미 연작을 통해, 형태가 아직 머물러 있는 상태에 집중합니다.

실크 위에 얹힌 유화 안료는천 위에 머물고, 번지고, 다시 마르며 시간과 중력의 영향을 받습니다.

이 과정 속에서 장미는 완전히 피어난 상징이 아니라 여전히 변화하고 있는 장면으로 남습니다.

In Roses in Flux, Mond Kim presents a series of black roses painted on silk.

Rather than depicting fully formed flowers, the works capture moments in which shapes are still shifting.
Oil pigment placed on silk does not immediately settle. It moves, spreads, and resists absorption, allowing gravity and time to become part of the image.

The black rose in this exhibition is not a symbol of darkness.
Instead, it represents a form that exists without relying on light or completion.

Each work remains slightly unresolved, holding the moment in which the image continues to transform.

전시 공간

전시는 두 개의 공간을 중심으로 구성되었습니다. 빛, 공기, 움직임에 따라 작품의 표면은 미세하게 변화하며 전시장 안에서도 그만의 흐름을 드러냅니다.

1층 공간에서는 실크 작품들이 벽면을 따라 배치되며 관람자가 각 작품을 천천히 마주할 수 있도록 구성되었습니다.

지하 공간에는 단 하나의 대형 작품이 설치되어 위에서 아래로 흐르는 형태와 중력의 움직임을 강조하였습니다.

The exhibition was installed across two levels.

The main floor presented a series of silk paintings arranged in a quiet sequence, allowing visitors to encounter each work individually.

In the basement space, a single large-scale installation was placed to emphasize vertical movement and gravity, echoing the flow of pigment seen in the paintings.
